National Philoptochos has asked each chapter to adopt and support a school in need. Saint Sophia Philoptochos has chosen the Magnolia Elementary School on Orchard Avenue in Los Angeles with a population of 1200 students. Please help us help the students and teachers prepare for back-to-school.

WHEN: Sunday, July 28, 2023 after the Liturgy
COST: Your donation…school supplies or money…is the cost of admission
Magnolia's Pandas are in need of these supplies:
Backpacks for girls and boys (MOST NEEDED)
Notebooks (either spiral bound or hard bound with paper inside
Plastic containers, with or without lids, to store books (any size)
Art supplies:
Glue sticks
Colored tissue paper
Markers
Crayons
Construction paper
Colorful stickers,
Pencils
Yarn
Scissors
Your admission is your donation of school supplies.
We will accept monetary donations in lieu of school supplies.
